Tacos, salsa dancing, and piñatas make for a fun party, especially this week, National Nursing Home Week! I hope you’re having a happy National Nursing Home Week filled with fiesta and fun.
With this year’s theme, Bring on the Fiesta, I’m sure that your communities, staff, and residents are having a blast with fiesta activities. And while you’re celebrating “Familia, Vida, Amor,” (Family, Life, Love) this week, we know that these are all things you embrace every day of the year. You treat residents like your family, care for them with love and compassion, and help them live the lives they deserve.
I look forward to this week every year as it’s a good reminder of the role that long-term care employees play in an organization’s success. Caregivers are there, day-in and day-out, supporting residents, fellow employees, and their communities. I hope you enjoy this week. It is very well deserved!
In the spirit of Familia, Vida, Amor, we’d love to hear about your staff members who embody family, life, and love on a daily basis. Give those exceptional employees some recognition for their hard work by visiting our Facebook page to post a comment and share their story. We can’t wait to hear about the impact they’re having on the people around them.
And on behalf of the team here at OnShift - thank you for the hard work you and your teams do every day!
