Happy Holidays and Best Wishes in the New Year

It’s hard to believe another year is almost behind us. And what a year it was! For OnShift, 2016 was a year of partnership, innovation and learning.

We had the opportunity to partner with our skilled nursing customers on the development of our solution to help them with their Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) compliance reporting needs. With the newness of PBJ in the market, we collaborated with skilled nursing organizations to deeply understand their needs; we had multiple discussions with CMS about the ins and outs of PBJ; and we worked with industry associations across the country to educate members and exchange our learnings on a continual basis. The end result was not only an ongoing and open dialogue about the new PBJ requirement, but also the delivery of OnShift’s PBJ reporting software. Our customers continue to give our PBJ product rave reviews for its ease-of-use and spot-on capabilities. According to Lisa Whited, HR Director at Washington Odd Fellows Home, “I could easily type out 10 reasons why we love OnShift for PBJ reporting. It’s so easy, border-line fun. I’m very, very happy with OnShift.”

In addition to PBJ, OnShift kicked off a strategic partnership this year with senior living association Argentum. OnShift was one of Argentum’s first corporate partners, aligning with one of their five key initiatives: workforce development. Throughout the course of the year, we have collaborated with Argentum on new research and best practices. We held the first Workforce Symposium with senior living leaders, working together to develop innovative solutions addressing significant issues like the workforce shortage and high turnover. 2016 was the first year in our three-year partnership, and we are thrilled to continue collaborating to strengthen the senior living workforce.

Innovation was and continues to be a core theme for all of us here at OnShift. As CEO, I challenge my teams on a daily basis to think of unique ways to solve problems. New features in our mobile app, performance enhancements under the hood of OnShift Schedule, and a fresh look at the data captured by OnShift are just a few things that live up to the innovative spirit here at OnShift. And look out, a lot more innovation is coming!

Most importantly, we would not be the company we are today without our clients. Every single interaction we have with our clients is of utmost importance to us. It’s what makes us tick. Those interactions drive our partnerships, innovations, learnings and so much more. OnShift is only successful when our customers are successful, and we strive to live up to this each and every day.

2017 is going to be an incredible year! We have exciting new products and services in development that we can’t wait to share.
