I am Kristy Kerek, I am the Corporate Human Resources Director.
And I’m the administrator here at Solon Pointe.
I’m a CNA, I’ve been here five years. The process is easy. I like it better because they don’t have to go through all the paperwork and try to schedule and lose stuff. So everything is in OnShift, where we can pick up a shift, cancel a shift, take time off.
Administrator: Solon Pointe’s a unique facility as we have a 99-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility and a 60-bed assisted living Medicaid wavier facility.
Without OnShift, we’d be back to the stone ages, dealing with a pen and paper schedule. I’ve done that previously and it’s no fun, so I think that once you go OnShift, you never go back. And it is a nice program to keep track of everything, to monitor everything, to have those missed punch forms, to have the missing punch reports, to be able to go in an examine and have different insights into scheduling and for reporting Payroll-Based Journal information.
Director of HR: I think that OnShift has helped me in the area of scheduling so much by itself, but OnShift is so good because I’m able to see the entire day and I can see who’s here and the moveable pieces and I can move people around to fit the need of the business in just one snapshot.
OnShift is really good about being able to get those messages out immediately so that it’s so much faster to get them to 179 people with one text or just one hit of the send button to try to get people to come in an work those shifts we may need filled last-minute.
Administrator: We do have a large staff and OnShift can be a great tool for helping to manage staff and open shifts.
