The headlines in our industry as of late have been filled with some real downers: Cuts, Reductions, Survival, Fight of Our Lives, and the list goes on… There’s good reason, given the 11.1% Medicare cuts that went into effect less than two weeks ago. But it’s awfully refreshing when this news can be communicated in a much different way.
Kudos to NuCare Management who turned to song and dance to convey their position on the Medicare cuts. Take a couple minutes to tune in to their take on a disco classic, Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive.” Listen closely to the words, and you’ll hear a strong, thoughtful response to a big industry issue.
While I can’t exactly say that the performers in this video are giving Gloria Gaynor a run for her money, I watched, I listened, I laughed, and I reflected. Hopefully you will too.
