Argentum Launches Senior Living Works Initiative

June 6, 2018 | James Balda

Argentum launches Senior Living Works initiativeAs an industry, we need to ensure a strong long-term succession plan focused on developing our future leaders. But, how do we get the word out that senior living offers a rewarding and fulfilling career path? How do we recruit and train the 1.2 million people the senior living industry needs by 2025?  Enter Senior Living Works.

Argentum’s Senior Living Works initiative is intended to mobilize the senior living industry and increase awareness of the senior living career field, while supporting the retention and advancement of current employees. At seniorliving.works, you’ll find the tools and resources to support your recruitment campaigns, such as:

  • A workforce engagement toolkit, presentations, and flyers, to help you contribute to the industry’s future success;
  • Tools for participating in community outreach at educational institutions and volunteer organizations; and,
  • Additional resources such as a video, introducing careers in caring to future job seekers.

Senior Living Works will continue to evolve, providing expanded information on educational and growth opportunities for current employees and future job seekers.

But Senior Living Works is more than an association initiative. It’s both a campaign and a call to action. Consider signing up to be a Senior Living Works Ambassador. As an ambassador, you’ll have access to many resources to help with your company’s recruitment campaigns.

Visit seniorliving.works and make a commitment to raising awareness and spreading the word. Together, we can meet the industry’s recruitment and retention challenges head on.
