We’re nearly three years into the COVID-19 pandemic and still dealing with the ramifications to the senior living industry. It’s been a difficult year for so many in the community, but I’ve been inspired to see organizations and employees meet these challenges head on to ensure residents are receiving the care they deserve.
While the challenges are far from over, I find there’s still so much to be thankful and hopeful for as I reflect on the previous year.
As always, I’m thankful for all senior care professionals -- so many of whom have gone above and beyond to support their residents and fellow teammates by picking up extra shifts, taking on additional responsibilities, and providing consistent, thorough care in the face of unprecedented staffing challenges.
The strength and endurance you and your staff have shown over the past few years is nothing short of heroic, and it inspires our OnShift team every day to provide the best support possible. Your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated, and I want to thank you for everything you’ve done.
I have so much hope for this industry and the amazing things to come for everyone involved. More than anything, I’m thankful to play even a small role in supporting senior care employees during this time, and long into the future.
