Keep Connected: Happy National Assisted Living Week!

This week, September 11-17, we celebrate National Assisted Living Week. Established by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) in 1995, this is an opportunity to recognize the important role of assisted living in caring for the nation’s seniors and disabled.This years’ theme -- Keep Connected --encourages assisted living communities and their residents to use technology to stay connected and engaged with the world around them.

In my role as CEO of OnShift, I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this industry. It’s fulfilling to be in a position to innovate through technology and offer it to the workers who care for our nation’s seniors day in and day out.

We have had some fun celebrating National Assisted Living Week the past few days. We’ve surprised some of our clients with a special way to say thank you, in person, for the important work that they do.  And, we took a few moments in our office with our team as yet another way to celebrate and recognize the importance of assisted living to the community.

I’d like to personally thank you and your teams who care for seniors. You fill such a vital role in our society. The OnShift team proudly serves the senior care industry and we love our customers! We hope you have been able to spend some time this week celebrating the wonderful work you do—you couldn’t be more deserving!
