Happy Holidays, Cheers To A Brighter 2021 & Thank You

I’ve written a holiday message for the OnShift blog many times before, but never have I been so overwhelmed with emotion while doing so. 2020 has been a year unlike any other. We’ve all been challenged in ways we never imagined. But I don’t think any of us can even begin to understand the sacrifices made by our nation’s frontline workers – especially those in senior care settings, tasked with keeping the most vulnerable population not only healthy, but in good spirits during an extremely lonely and often disorientating time.

And while I could sit here and list off the almost endless number of things you all contributed in this effort, I’d prefer to focus on the future – as I’m sure you would too. The vaccine has given us a sense of hope that we can carry into the new year. While a return to “normal’ will be slow and steady, I am confident that we will all fare better in 2021. And when all is said and done, and the COVID-19 pandemic becomes a lesson in our history books, I hope that there is an entire chapter dedicated to the heroic acts of frontline workers.

While ‘thank you’ hardly does my appreciation justice, know that your bravery and hard work has gone far from unnoticed. Please enjoy this special message from OnShift as a small token of our immense gratitude.
