OnShift Announces New Hiring Software for Senior Care

Before big hair, neon, and Madonna took over the ‘80s, the preppy look was in. Plaid, turned-up collars, and “The Official Preppy Handbook” were like totally the coolest for anyone who wanted to be someone in the 1980s. 

Trust me on this. I soaked in all-things-preppy faster than Ferris Bueller could take a day off. As a tween in the early prep days, I dreamed of heading off to college, Ivy League of course, where I’d spend my afternoons in class followed by weekends taking in football on beautiful autumn days.  It was picture perfect, except one thing was missing. I needed, yes needed, a Bermuda handbag.

At the time, I really felt like I could not live without a Bermuda bag. Fortunately, my birthday was around the corner so I handed my mom my one special request and waited. Oh, I waited and waited and then when I couldn’t wait any more, I snooped (true confession  - sorry, Mom!)  The snooping didn’t lead to anything except a little guilt, and my anticipation continued to grow. Then finally, yes finally, it was my day. It was my birthday!  Just like Ralphie and his Red Ryder bb gun, I received my Bermuda bag. It was perfect. Life was good.

Lately I’ve been having similar feelings of excitement and anticipation here at OnShift, only this time, my excitement is about giving, not getting.
