Exceptional leaders are the ones who go above and beyond their responsibilities and their contributions can be felt throughout the entire organization.

Lora McCloskey of Catholic Health Care Services, Archdiocese of Philadelphia, is one such leader who has made an exceptional contribution in the field of staff scheduling and labor management. Lora is described by colleagues and management of Catholic Health Care Services as “an extraordinary scheduler who believes in OnShift and teaches all other schedulers to use it to the fullest”.

Lora’s contributions extend beyond scheduling to include initiatives that have improved staffing efficiency while decreasing operational costs. Lora is credited by her company for creating innovative models that reduced overtime across the organization, even eliminating it altogether in Catholic Health Care Services’ largest facility. All the while, she has delivered proper staffing to ensure that quality standards are met, each and every day. Lora’s use of OnShift to make the scheduling process more transparent and accessible for employees has even boosted morale within Catholic Health Care Services.

For her contributions, leadership and accomplishments, Catholic Health Care Services promoted Lora to the role of master trainer for all facilities.

A big congrats to Lora as a true standout who has demonstrated the value of proper staffing and nurse scheduling throughout her organization. Lora was recently recognized as an OnShift Champion in the Scheduler of the Year Awards (see photo). We’re proud to partner with Lora and Catholic Health on their success!
