Over 2,100 long-term care employees responded to an OnShift survey conducted to capture the impact that the new COVID-19 vaccine Federal mandate will have on the industry's workforce. The research indicates a potential mass exodus from long-term care providers and shares current employee vaccination rates, as well as future employment plans for unvaccinated staff.

Key [insights from the survey](https://www3.onshift.com/covid-19-vaccine-federal-mandate-employee-survey-results) include:

- 57% of survey respondents have received the COVID-19 vaccine
- 38% of respondents have not received the COVID-19 vaccine
- Of those unvaccinated respondents, only 8% plan to receive the COVID-19 vaccine
