OnShift is a proud supporter of the Institute. We are honored to support its mission and help fund the naming gift in Granger’s honor. The Institute’s senior living management program addresses a fundamental need of the industry: to recruit the people needed to care for the 75 million boomers that will enter senior living communities over the next decade. They work diligently to attract the next generation of industry leaders through undergraduate and graduate programs, research, partnerships with high schools and several other forms of outreach.
“Granger Cobb reinvented what it means to be a leader. Many of the concepts he drove throughout senior living serve as a model for how many senior living organizations operate today,” said OnShift CEO Mark Woodka. “He cared deeply about people and his passion for senior living was contagious. The Granger Cobb Institute for Senior Living allows his legacy to live on and hopefully inspire generations of leaders to follow in his footsteps.”
Our own Lisa Fordyce is attending the celebration on the WSU Pullman campus today and will share some photos and highlights next week. Stay tuned!
