Hats off to all of you in long-term care! This week marks the annual National Nursing Home Week. It’s a time to take a moment and say thank you to each and every one of you who have dedicated yourselves to helping those who are not able to help themselves.
The theme of this special week is “Celebrating the Journey.” Think about the journeys that you have all encountered as caregivers and professionals in long-term care. The journeys of the residents you have taken care of would not be the same without you.
From all of us at OnShift: Thank You. We are proud to work in an industry that is committed to improving the lives of others. Your contributions and dedication do not go unnoticed. And that’s what National Nursing Home Week is all about.
We thought it would be fun to commemorate this special week by giving away “Celebrating the Journey” t-shirts. All you have to do is LIKE OnShift on Facebook for a chance to get one. The t-shirts are hot items. They’re sold out from AHCA! And don’t the shirts look great on our OnShift models?

Now hurry along and visit us on Facebook. Don’t forget to click LIKE. And enjoy the week – it’s your week! Happy National Nursing Home Week from all of us at OnShift.
I’m a pensioner aged 65. I have worked for my present employer for nearly 11 years. I work 3 days per week from 10am to 2pm. I was told recently, that I will now have to work whatever hours and days they choose to give me. I have now learnt they have given my shift to another person, she has a child who has just started school. Can they change my shift and give my shift to this other person?
