About Frank Griffith
Executive Vice President
Frank joined the Company in February, 2009. As Executive Vice President of Business Development, Frank is responsible for developing OnShift’s multi-layered go-to-market direct and indirect new customer acquisition sales strategies. Frank’s responsibilities include the development and management of all lead generation programs, building and leading the direct sales model, and extending the company’s reach through a national third party distribution channel.
Prior to OnShift, Frank built GHI, a diversified holding and management company comprised of several privately-held technology firms that serves thousands of clients worldwide. GHI has staff dispersed across four continents and resells more than 90 products and services through 400+ business partners. Frank’s branded companies span industry sectors ranging from telecommunications and SaaS e-commerce software, to interactive new media agencies, real estate, entertainment, and traditional marketing. Numerous organizations over the years have recognized Frank, GHI, and its subsidiaries for rapid growth, sustained profitability, and consistent performance.
Frank has received Distinguished Sales and Marketing awards and honored as Entrepreneur of the Year; his companies have earned Small Business of the Year accolades and three times were recipients of the prestigious Weatherhead 100 Award as one of Northeast Ohio’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies.
Prior to founding GHI, Frank was the Vice President of Sales for Viador, the leading web-based Business Intelligence provider and first in its space to go public in 1999. Frank was one of 5 members of the Executive Committee and helped grow the firm from $1.2M to $30M in less than 18 months, building a sales and engineering staff from 3 to 52 employees.
Prior to joining Viador, Frank held several senior sales management roles at various vertical application software companies, two that he held a minority equity position within which were sold in the private markets and another that went public on NASDAQ in 1996. Frank’s first job was as a Systems Engineer and Programmer on the IBM PC back in 1982.
